I knew this day would come, just didn't think it would come this soon. I saw one of our cars with lambo doors at a local rice shop...um....if you like it then go for it. As for me, I wasn't feeling well after I saw it, kind like a swallowed something foul.

But to each his own.

Have fun.

QTF

They may be helpful, though. I know more than a few times I've squeezed into a tight spot, or some jerk parked too close to me and I had to get in/out on the passenger side. [:@]

Good point... you'd certainly never accidentally ding someone's door!

That'd ruin my day, both if someone dinged me or if I accidentally dinged him...

Fortunately, I can afford to park close to people. I'm pretty "lean" (about 130lbs) and can turn into a real body contortionist when exiting/entering my stang.

I am really thinking about going to lambo doors also. i think it realy looks neat and the whole door ding thing is a + also

$400 is one hell of a deal! I have been checking around and kits can go for upwards of $1800.
there are a few kits on ebay for 500 but they also want 75 to ship them

will you install them your self? i know that on our mustangs the inner fender needs to be rolled to allow room for the hinge. I dont think it is a big deal, but i dont know if i want to go through the pain in the @ss of pulling the fenders off the car.

let us know what you decide or at leat let me know

I saw quite a few of these at the SEMA show. There were 2 things that bothered me about these kits. The door felt flimsy/loose when open. Also, most did not go vertical - somewhere around 60 degrees. Which means you have to duck under the door to get in. Otherwise, I think they look good.

yeah, most go out a bit then flip up and are quite flimsy, especially with big heavy doors like we hvave
