The 4.0 badge looks terrific, Rygen!

Did you consider putting them on the fender, either below or on top of the pony (as V6MustangStuff shows with the "4.2" emblem) instead? I think it looks best on the trunk but I wonder what the fenders would look like.

Thanks!!! Yes, I did consider it, but I wanted a clean look and didn't want to put too many emblems on the side fenders.

Nice Pics, have one question, what are the two toggle switches for on the dash? I see you have the GT fog lights is that a kit. Also like the side emblems off the 66 Stang. Was reading your stat sheet also impressive. Krazy

Thank you!!! The toggle switches are for the nitrous, first one activates the Zex, second button is the purge, and the third switch is the bottle warmer. Details on my Zex install are on my web site. I got the GT bumpers and wheels from Casco on ebay. Thanks again!

Hey Rygen,

One more question about the spoiler -- did you ever think about painting it yourself? If you just need to paint the one (relatively) small piece to match, why not order a few spray cans from www.paintscratch.com and save a couple hundred bucks?

Do you guys think this would be prohibitively hard to do-it-yourself?

i bought my exact paint match and clearcoat from www.paintscratch.com and it looks great and is pretty simple too. I got the paint within a week. I'm in vegas though, and they ship from cali, so it quicker for me than you eastsiders.

Nice! What were you painting? Just fixing a scratch, or painting an add-on part?

Did you just spray the paint right on?

No, it never occured to me and its not as simply as you think. The wing needed to be prepped, primed and painted. I live in an area that is dominated with ricers and euro racers. I see so many crappy body kits and do it yourself wings that are self painted and look like crap. I'm very **** about paint finishes. For my wing, it took my body shop 2 times of prep, primed and painted till they thought the match was perfect. It also depends on the material, a lot of times if the material is not prepped right, the paint will not match.

There is only one case I saw someone paint a body part themselves and it look good. Fazm painted his V6 plastic rocker panels and they truned out perfect. This is because the material they are made out of takes well to paint, and he primed them first.

But, if someone wants to give it a try and put up a informative post with how to pics, please do!
