Default hey guys help a rookie out here.........rims related

hey guys iam thinkin of buyin these black 18' rims for my 6, and it just come w/ just the rims and i have to get the tires somewhere else, now is it easy to get the rims actually into the tires or does a mechanic has to install everything to include putting the tires on the car??? sorry might sound like a dumb question

I cannot imagine you being able to do it yourself. Just go to a tire place or something with the rims and have them take care of everything. Not that I even think it is possible to do yourself (tires being put on the rims), but even putting them on your car would be a pain.

your gonna have to get them mounted somewhere. First of all it isnt easy to just slide the tire on the wheel, there is a tire mounting machine that the professionals use. If you try to do it yourself you will more than likely damge the bead of the tire and damage the lip of the wheel.
