Default XCal-2 Showed up today - SLICK!

My XCal-2 from Brenspeed showed up today just before lunch and I rushed out to the parking lot in my excitement and flashed my stang. I have a tank of 87 octane in the car now and therefore loaded Brents 87 octane tune. It was super easy and only took a couple minutes and the result: WOW!! Holy CRAP what a difference! The sluggishness in the throttle is gone, the shifts are firm and it can just break loose very easily now. The best part of this is that I'm still using my stock air intake system as I have not had the time to install my AEM Brute Force CAI. So now I can't wait to get my CAI on and fuel up with some higher octane fuel and try those tunes.

All I can say is that no matter how much you read what a difference a custom tune can make, you have to be sitting in the drivers seat to truly realize what a difference it makes!

Just got mine from Bamachips the other day, along with the C&L intake. The car is obviously MUCH better. Now if the weather would only cooperate and give me some dry pavement....

Congratulations on the tuner... I've gotta try an X-Cal2.

Personally, I've got a predator and I know EXACTLY what you mean about "what a difference"
Be careful on those higher octane tunes, YOU'LL END UP ONLY BUYING PREMIUM GAS, it does tend to put a dent in the wallet! WHO CARES, IT'S WORTH IT!!

Haa haa you're probably right....filled up on the way home with mid grade 89 octane and i'm going to reflash in the morning for that.....like you said just probably work myself up to the point where I only run 93. Oh well I'm still smiling!
