Default Torque Converter's

where can i get a stronger torque converter for my car i need to strengthen the tranny to get ready to purchase a supercharger

They are not out for our cars yet. Your option right now is to buy one from Ford, and have a shop custom modify it to reduce tranny loss. Someone posted a shop on here that does it, but I can't remember where.

Actually there is a torque converter out for the new auto. I read about it in the new muscle mustangs mag. Its a 3,000 rpm stall and took of a few tenths on a GT. http://www.tciauto.com

While the GT and the V6 share the same automatic "model" they are not identical... That includes the torque convertor... a GT convertor will not fit a V6...
