I just bought a used 05, V6 convertible. When the motor is cold I have a noise that makes the car sound like a sewing machine going down the road instead of that nice rumble. Could it just be a dry belt that needs dressing or?

I don't know what that could be. Did you pop the hood to make sure it doesn't have a singer in there? Unless your warantee has expired, I'd run it by the nearest dealer. Let them figuire it out for you. Hope you enjoy your vert as much as I like mine. Welcome to the club.
