Coming back from deployment car been drivin very little what it do?
So im coming back in June and my step dad had the oil changed due to the time that it has beens sitting for those of you who dont know.
-picked it up july 05
-left for deployment again 17 days later
-car has been driven around the block 1 time every few days and down the highway
-coming back in june
-it only has 700something miles on it and yes that 700!
What should I do to prep it for everyday driving now? (oil change etc ) ideas?

Did you put a fuel stabilizer before you left? Might want to add something to your tank to clear up any possible build up. Definately change the oil if its been more than a few months. Oh yea...and good luck on your trip home!

I was in the exact same predicament a few months ago....and mine was only driven once a week for about 5 miles total/week. I had my wife put fuel sabalizer in it both times she fueled it and once I got home it was straight to business......Mine was bought in March of 05 and only now has 2236 miles on it. that was the longest nine months to have to wait, but well worth it. Good Luck on your return trip and keep your eyes open till you leave and are over the ocean....If your coming to Ft. Campbell shot me an E-mail and I'll meet you with a cold one. Thanks for all the input, nope no stabilizer was put in it which ohwell my bad so where can I get it online so that I can have it shipped to my house and have my dad put it in there when he goes for the next refill, I think I only had quarter tank in there before I left so its time for a refill, Ill definately do a day of driving when I get home so that I can get everything going again, kinda wish I would have waited to buy it now because before I didnt have enough money for the GT but now haha lets say I definitely do, maybe ill look into a turbo/twin turbo. Who knows. Im actually going down to texas , corpus christi area for duty so anyways more input is always good take care.

Close to waco.....oh btw I installed my 1600watt amp and my sub that I had in my truck before i deployed, guess what it (my sub) lasted not even 5 minutes before the surround ripped...I guess all that time sitting on the shelf in a closet made it dry rot. OH well never fear it was only a 3 inch rip so I broke out the black silicone and neatly placed a bead along the rip then along the edge of the whole surround. I let it sit for a few hours then I decided to toss it back in and go for some Kentucky Fried Chicken.....I gave it a decent work out and its holding together so far...
