Calipers

RE: Calipers
I'd be careful painting them white. They'll be coated in brake dust in no time and will look pretty dull and dirty. I've been planning on painting my calipers for some time, it's just been too cold. You can get an actual brake caliper painting kit that comes with caliper cleaner and paint for around $15-$20. On a white car with black trim I bet red calipers would look good. Would be a nice contrast from all that black and white.

RE: Calipers
i did paint mine last summer with this..http://www.hivolume.com/en/select.ph...rket_part=7168. and it looked very good until winter came and i wash my car at my local power wash. i started to notice flaking and every time i would wash my car it would flake Moore. all 4 of them are now almost back to normal. i asked the guy at the place were i bout it and he said that it would NOT chip or flake..boy was he wrong..so don't use this product.i don't no if i will paint them again this summer.maby if someone who has painted their with something better and has made it threw winter all try it....

RE: Calipers
Eastwood makes a real nice kit for 39.99 and it comes in a bunch of different colors.

My boyfriend and I painted my Red/Silver Monte Carlo SS calipers with that stuff. It was real easy to do. We painted them over a year ago and I only have one small chip on the front left. So it does hold up well. I don't know if I'm going to paint my Mustang's calipers becuase I don't know what color will look good with Windveil Blue. They have a medium blue but I don't know how that's going to look.

Red is theway to go, with the Bullitt wheels IMO, same as the 2001 green Bullitt Mustang
