Great article! I guess I'm going to have to reconsider the JBA headers after all. The dyno showed impressive gains, contray to some previous discussions in the forums. Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately they tested the header and mufflers TOGETHER! So that doesn't prove that JBA headers give you a big gain... Most of that gain is from the muffler! I picked around 10RWHP with a single Magnaflow... When I switched to the MRT we picked up another 7RWHP on top of the 10! So based on that for $225 you can put on an MRT single axle back and get as much gain as putting on the JBA headers and mufflers... and the MRT is a lot cheaper! LOL!

Yea, but keep in mind that is a header/muffler combination. It's probably the muffler more than anything. If you are looking for the most bang for the buck, I would look at that MRT muffler scrming has. I am definitely considering switching to them this year.

The jba muffler is pretty good.. probably very similar gains to the Magnaflow. Yes, you can get the same gains with just the MRT as with the jba headers/muffler... that just means the MRT's will see even more of a gain with headers, plus sound even better!

I realized it was unfortunately a combo test. I already have the JBA mufflers, so I was saying I should consider going all the way withe the headers too. There are no dynos in the area, so I didn't have the benefit of before and after numbers with the JBA "H" pipe kit. Thanks guys for clarifying though.
