with a pony package. It was totaled with 16" wheels on and not the 17" GT wheels with the Pony Package emblems. I replaced the car with an 05 convertible, and proceeded to put the GT wheels with the Pony emblems onto the 05 convertible. I feel like a bit of a wanna be. Should I go all the way with the grill and badges? It is only an 05, so that isn't respectful of the true design. Also, it is a second car that will get about 2000 miles a year, should I keep it correct? I feel like the pony emblems look funny on the wheels without the other Pony things. Ok, thanks for the opinions.

With such large production numbers I don't think our cars will ever be a truely hot "collectible". Therefore, go ahead and feel free to add the GT rear sway bars and a pony grill with fogs if you like them. With these additions, along with your badges and 17" bullits not even a Ford dealer could tell which year it is without looking at the door tag. Have fun! Make it your own.
