AMSOIL FlowZair Air Filters

If you want the best in replacement OEM air filters you would be doing yourself a great service by checking out the new upgraded AMSOIL air filters.

I am having a special on the TS-191 which fits 1996 and later Ford Mustang V8s. unlke the K&N these are foam based, defuse dirt several times to result cleaner air, cost less and you don't see the little holes when you shine a lamp through it.
These are a perfect fit and come well oiled. They are washable but the oil stands up to the toughest abuse. To clean you don't need anything fancy but dish soap then re-oil with the $3 oil bottle once a year or every 25,000 miles or sooner if you wish.
I am selling these for only $42.50. AMSOIL minimum suggested retail is $47.50.In stock ready to ship. If you order with a case of oil I will take $2 off the total.

Look at my air-filter page for more details: http://www.syntheticwarehouse.com/air_filters.htm

You can simply look at oil analysis with the K&amp;N type and see the elevated silicone levels. The early readings of the analysis on my web site display that as I was using the KN cone type.</P>

If you check on diesel forums you will see K&amp;N is not in your best interest. The restrictor gauges never close and according to the turbodieselregister issue 30, K&amp;N does not meet Cummins Engine Co. standard for particle size.</P>

Because of the fit and design of the Mustang and Ford truck filter this is AMSOIL's more expensive one but most retail for 24 to 28 when I have seen the average KN for $40-$65.</P>

But how on earth would you expect a filteryou can see light through the cotton sheets (we cut one in half) to stop particles? We work trade shows all the time and the visitors have been quite impressed with the quality and workmanship of this new line of filter. At the same show K&amp;N has their big semi out there with their $200,000 display. They could'nt do that if they sold their filters for what they're worth. (about $5.00)</P>

Ok Ok, but does it look cool, and does it flow better? Give me proof of better flow and I'll get one.

Well right now the only proof I can give you is what's on the new color brochure. It describes the new 3M material and the cells per sq inch - or if you were to ask a customer but visually you can tell. The flow is not better. It's exactly identicle to the K&amp;N but with better filtering. And for your other cars the price should be even better. I can also give you the phone # of the guys that designed it. 1-715-392-7101 then ask for Jim Gould. (Don't tell him I sent you.)</P>

Another dealer I work with has a filter demonstrator. If you were in Dallas or Ft. Worth I could let you see the improvement of air flow over the paper type and also there is a dirt test. I suppose we could video tape it but it is not mine and I don't know how to get that on my website. </P>

Last, because of the design of the stock unit, the Ford one isn't anything to write home about. It's strange round filter with a plastic cone on the end. The one I have is in a sealed bag but next time I sell one locallyI will get a photo. If some one buys one from me I can open it infront of the webcam or open it with their permission just for the photo..</P><edited><editID>Roundabout</editID><editDate>37975.7908564815</editDate></edited>

I assumed that, but next time you wash the K&N and you notice the holes get larger keep us in mind. Then you will hace something to compare to and you will have a filter that is actually value based as all AMSOIL products are.

Yes, but most of the people on this site have a cold air induction, or FIPK of some sort. Not just a drop in filter replacement. Does this new one come in that type of application?

Yeah, they support the site alright. My post from earlier was removed because I glorified the K&amp;N Filter. Smart folks will stay with K&amp;N, because you just can't beat years upon years of R&amp;D, racing promotions and experience, and such. Race car drivers, including many NHRA drivers, use K&amp;N exclusively, because it works!</P>

If I'm removed from the site for saying this...you all know why. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>
