This will be the thread to post upcoming events and the like. If something is going on near you, let us know!! This will also be the thread where we can discuss an annual get together for those that are interested.

Wild Wheels Weekend is going on at the VA Beach oceanfront 4/15-17. I will be there. Is anyone else going?

Is this show an annual event? Sounds like fun.

I just checked the schedule and might drive down for the VA Beach show on Saturday the 16th... Will know for sure as it gets closer. Have you been to that show before?

Oh yeah, it is a blast. It's pretty much a 3 day car show/cruise/party on a huge span of the boardwalk along the ocean front. They have live bands and all kinds of stuff. Last year we walked up and down looking at all of the cars and ended up hanging out with a bunch of Mustang guys into the wee hours of the morning. They have multiple shows and stuff going on at the same time, so if you get bored you just walk down to the next spot, lol. Everything is right in the middle of all the restaurants/bars too so the nightlife is good if you stay that long. Hit me up if you decide to come.

I'm pretty sure that the Northern VA show at Cowles Ford is in its second year. To me that doesn't quite justify calling it annual yet, but that does seem to be the plan.

Last year I went with friends. We were having fun, but the rain put a damper on it. Still there were about 20 to 25 cars indoors which made it a lot of fun.

This year I'm planning on taking my newly acquired '08 stang.
