Default Dealerships in NoVA

Hey All,

Anyone have a favorite dealership/salesperson in NoVA? I have worked with a couple and have not been impressed. Seems like no one wants my business. Would be willing to travel up to an hour from the Arlington area.

Currently own a 2007 GT and looking at potential upgrade to a new Shelby or Boss if I don't go with a whipple first.

Thanks!
Anthony

Anthony, lets us know which one you have worked (or not) with...I bought my Stang back in 06 from Ourisman Ford of Alexandria. I have had my other Fords Serviced out of Sheehy Ford in Springfield...no issues with either one.

I have been to a couple of dealerships. No bad experiences, just looking for a referral to someone you guys like.

Been to Ted Britt in Chantilly & Tyson's Ford.

Thanks!

I bought from Purvis down here in Fredericksburg. The entire team was really great to work with.

I used to work out of the the Koons body shop in Falls Church. I didn't deal too much with their sales office, but they were generally pretty helpful the few times that I did need help.

OK, I see. Shoot, unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the salesperson since we are talking 5 yrs back...good luck with the hunt.

I bought my '08 in '08 from Ted Britt in Fairfax. They were fine, but also desperate to sell a vehicle (it was late 2008 when everything was going into the crapper). Ended up getting my brand new GT for 21.5K which was pretty incredible.

The thing is this, you don't want to go to a dealership and start talking to a floor sales guy. You need to go through their internet sales -- best thing to do is just find the vehicle you're interested in at a dealership (preferably a large one) and do a request-a-quote from their website. Usually you will get a price that's close to invoice.

Also, you might want to check dealerships in Maryland. In MD they have a law where there is a limit to processing fees. In VA, even though you might get a good quote on the vehicle price, they might end up adding a hefty processing fee afterwards.

Good luck.
