Finally made a choice and ordered my wheels. Niche Targa 19x8.5. I think they look good, but probably should've moved up to 20s. This car has a way of making wheels look small, even when they aren't. (I remember when 19" wheels were considered HUGE). I just didn't want to completely change the way the car rides. I test-drove an Ecoboost with the 20" Foundry wheels, and it rode like a hay wagon over the broken Uptown Dallas streets. The sales guy said there were no suspension differences between the Ecoboost and the V6, but I'm now questioning that. Moving my car up to 19s with a 40-series tire seemed to have no affect on the way it rides. Anyone have input on that? Does the Ecoboost have stiffer suspension?
Anyway....the horse has new shoes.

Street setup - 18 x 9.5 GT500 wheels. It's a fairly recent picture, so the tires are 265/40-18 MPSS.

Track day setup - 18 x 11 Forgestar F14 wheels with 285/35-18 MPSS tires

Yeah, the fronts stick out a little, but this is a road course car and it needs all the front tire grip I can find for it. So it looks right when you understand the seriousness of its purpose . . .

2007 GT with 18 x 8 Vision Cross wheels, 255 45 18 Kumhos. I'm an old guy looking for a little comfort over handling. I couldn't deal with the noise and harshness of the Nitto 555's any more, but they did handle great.
