Untamed Pony

I have a 90 GT and I was wondering what would be the best size tire to use in a stock location with out having to roll the fenders. I need both slick size and DR size. Someone told me that a 255/ 50 / 15 would be good but I'm not sure. I have removed the quad shocks.
