Default Recommended tire size of 18x9 and 18x10

I just ordered some rims, 18x9 for the front and 18x10 for the rear, what size of tire would you recommend? I was looking at 245/40/18 for the front and 275/35/18 for the rear. Im also considering a 1 inch spacer for the rear as well.

Is your car now, or do you plan to lower it? If so, I would recommend a 255~265/35 up front & 275~283/30 out back.

If you plan on running spacers you MUST replace the lug-bolts to accomodate the additional thickness of spacer, but think 1" is too much anyway. You will likely get rubbing on fender and puts additional strain on bearings and such. In addition, I would NOT use a spacer that has 5 holes AND its own second set of bolts. I think this is a bad way to go and consider it unsafe, but just my opinion. I run 1/2" spacers and have replaced the bolts with longer/stronger ones and feel 100% secure.

HTH

I was gonna put the tires on and see how staggered it looks and if I want a little more Ill look for some spacers. I dont remember if the spacers on AM were 1" or not.. I could be wrong.

You will have a nice stagger and the wheel wells will be filled up FULL. Depending on the off-set of your wheels, you MAY have room to push the rears outward up to 1/2", as I did with these:

As mentioned, I had to replace my studs as the extra 1/2" needed to then mount the wheel is just not enough. The new wheels will be quite a bit further outward than current, so you will be much happier with the appearance.

Below are the ones I mentioned as a big NO NO:

Install the wheels/tires and see what you think. You will be VERY pleased with result.

We usually set up the 275/35/18 on the 10" and the 245/40/18 on the 9". Let me know if you want a price?

Nice! Tire Rack has good prices. We can usually keep up with them but they do have great pices. What tires did you end up going with?
