2000 GT - 315's up front?
How difficult is it to put 315/35/17's on the front end of a 2000 GT. Im sure a new K-member and A-arms and other equipment. I have recently been looking into griggs racing kits because i would like to get into autocross but am wondering if anyone has any experience with this on the forums.
Devon is correct
(< don't know what that icon is, but is new and I think it is cute!)
I can actually run a 315/30/18" up front on my ride if I wanted to do a bit more fender work.
You are correct that Griggs can install an SLA suspension up front, as I have, and will accomodate such a tire with some mods. Will need a "K" heavy duty "A" arms, new tube anti-roll with CO's. I currently run a 295/30/18" on 10" wheel and have my steering rack limited by one notch. I think I can forgo the limiter, just have to take it out an see if it still clears. I have had my fenders cut and rolled (no visible difference from stock on the outside, just what curls underneath)
I AX my ride and sticks like glue if I don't over-drive the corners
