Default Anyone running deep dish wheels in the rear?

Is there anyone on here running 10.5s deep dish on the back of there fox. If so did you have to do any extra work to get them on and any pics would be great thanks.

10.5's dont fit on a fox without spacers, inner wheel well hammering, fender rolling, and suspension work.

stick to a 17x9

I have the 5 lug swap on my 93 gt with 10.5s in the back on 275 40 17 rite now with no spacers and are fine but was wanting to know what the diff was with people who have bigger tires like 305s 315s, i was looking on car domain and american muscle and there are lots of foxes with 10s and 10.5 on them i have just noticed that some stick out further then others and wasnt sure why.

Good question. I think youll be maxed out at 9s with 275's. By the way, the new edge can take the larger wheel in the rear than a fox

The reason you are able to run a 10.5" wheel, is the use of a 275/40 tire. Even this is VERY close, I am sure. You will need to do some level of tub work to get a wider tire on such a wheel of a Fox.

a question here. So a 10.5 wheel is ~266 mm but you can fit a 275 in the rear. Is there something I am missing?

A 275 is quite a bit narrower than the wheel itself and the sides are where the tire will contact fenders first due to how they are formed and articulation of the axle. Either way, this is gonna be tight for sure. I have seen 10" wheels on a Fox without any serious tub work, but is very tight.

I suppose a 10.5" will work, but I have to figure that those wheels seen by Brandon had at least a visit from MC Hammer and Sister Sledge during their co-headlining world tour.

I have to release my anger some how? But I will stick to 9's in the rear. 275 would be pretty good

There is no benefit to running a 10.5 with a 275 tire. you would be better off with a 17x9. Putting the 275 on there will kill the lateral traction of the tire, and introduce scrub radius issues.

Just stick to a 17x9

I agree. But I think the reason some guys want 10.5 deep dish in the rear is for looks, which looks badass by the way. But you're right there isn't a benefit, I'll stick with 17x9 as should the OP as well.
