Wheel and Tire Sizing on a stock 2003 GT
 

I'm in a crunch for new wheels with tires.. and a budget. a guy is selling 4 18in x 9in GT4 wheels with tires but the problem is I'm running the stock suspension on my car an 03 gt and the tire sizes are 255/55-18 front and 285/40-18 rear... Just want opinions on whether they would fit properly and if my car would look ridiculous

if my math is correct, those are 29' tall. your stock hight is 26'

Black.... a 29" wheel is NOT going to fit your ride, so please do not try to run it. As for differing sizes, this can create some ABS sensor issues beyond about 1" differential. I have not done the math on the differential between tires you listed, but the one set is too big anyway :(

It depends on the look that you're trying to achieve. 17 inch rims and tires will be cheaper all around, but 18's will look a bit better.

If everything is properly sized and such, your stock suspension will be fine.

I'm just gunna bit the bullet and go with new but will 17x10.5s clear my quad shocks with 315s on em. I don't have the money to remove them and get new LCAs

They clear with my 315's.

Even if they don't clear, you can rotate them sometimes, as mentione in your other thread, or just pull them off. Wheel hop is only gonna be an issue if you are looking to make a smokescreen on your getaway from the bank you just robbed.
