Just ordered a set of rims they are 9.5 and was wondering if my stock tires will fit on these rims, stock size is 245-45-19 with a 8.5 inch rim, i know they will fit on 255s but just gotta make sure they will work with a 245, i think they should, gonna blow if they dont!!!

my stock size exactly are 245-45-19 zr, tire rack said they should be mounted on a 7-9 inch rim instead of 9.5, which sucks, guess ill have to wait to get some money to buy new tires now, geeze

yes the stock 245.45.19 will fit a 9 inch rim, but not any bigger!!!!

I've had 245's on 9.5" rims before. No issues. They weren't my first choice but I needed the narrowest tire for a 9.5" rim at the time for a project car.

They're gonna look really stretched. A 255 on a 9.5" wheel is pushing it aesthetically.

Check out iceguyb14's thread. He's got the brembo pack tires 255/40-19 on a 9.5" wheel.

j3st3r's thread. 275/40-19 on the same wheels. This is the size you want imo. It's certainly what I want.

A 245/45 on 9.5" wheels is a stretch, but only a small one.

It might be best to put together a set of 255/40 summer tires on the 9.5" wheels for 2 - 3 season driving and leave the original tires on the OE wheels for winter use.
