Hi Guys- I'm looking for rear replacement tires on my 85 GT with good wet traction. I have a pair of BFG g-Force Sport Comp 2's on my front and I have BFG Scorchers on my rear. They stuck great and handled well in the rain! Well, one of the Scorchers bit the dust yesterday and they are no longer available so I need a new pair. I searched the forum and saw conversations about the Nitto 555R's and M/T. I would like a tire that will be just as good if not better, without breaking the bank. I am kind of leaning towards the Nitto's but I would like to hear your opinions as well.

Side note: Tire size is 245/45/17. I have not been to the track yet, I'm waiting to get it dyno-tuned. Even then it will be a once in a while thing. It's not a daily driver, but I do drive it a few times a week except in cold/icy/snowy conditions.

Hey mels, I would recommend a set Falken PT722's for your stang, they are quite the performers and they work great in the wet. Plus they are priced greatly. Shoot me up a PM if you have any other questions or inquiries.
