Guys. I have a 82 gt that is all original but I am wanting to put a set of oem mustang gt 97 17x8 wheels with 245 45 17 tires on it. I have located a spacer/adapter that will do this but the spacer will add 1.75 inches to the hub. Will this cause any problems with fender rub? Surely someone has tried this b4. I don't want to alter the originality of the cars suspension bc from time to time I would like to show it with the original trx rims. Thanks
