315/35/R20s in the rear of a 05 GT?
Hi guys,
This is my very first post, but I was wondering if a 315/35/R20 would fit in the rear of a 05 GT and if a 275/35/R20 would fit on the front. The rims are 20x10 in the back and 20x8 in the front. The guy who had them said that they fit perfectly on his 2011 GT, so I was curious if they would fit onto my 2005 GT? I have made no modifications to my car's suspension.

Looked @ several tires, 315/35-20, on TireRack, all listed 10.5-12.5" for rim width.
Tires vary from Mfg. to Mfg., even the same size.
If the tires you're considering are too wide for your rim, they may fit, but you won't get the benefit of the increased contact patch.
Not knowing your wheels offset & back spacing may be an issue also.
You SHOULD be ok on the front, but again, offset & back spacing come into play here to.

275/35's need to be on wheels at least 9" wide. On 8" wide wheels up front, expect steering response and precision to be somewhat . . . "soft" and maybe a bit unsatisfying to drive on out on back-county roads.
