USMC Mustang

Hey Guys, this forum has been a great resource for my 1967 Mustang project. I'm in the reassembly phase of my project and noted that the grille needs a fresh coat of paint. Can anyone tell me if the standard grille is meant to sprayed with a flat, semi-gloss, or gloss paint? Thanks for the help and for sharing all of the info on MF.

My childhood neighbor worked for the company that supplied Ford the grills for 67 Mustangs and he had (probably still has) the first grill they ever stamped out for a 67 laying in the rafters of his 1 car garage.

Can't remember the exact color so I know it doesn't help but your post made me think of that for the first time in a long time.
