Replacing the shock absorbers can be one of the most rewarding operations on your car in terms of handling and comfort. Fresh shock absorbers improves the handling in corners and also reduces the diving of the front when braking. Replacing the shock absorbers for original ones absolutely improves the ride experience, but while you're at it, why not go all the way and upgrade to some aftermarket shock absorbers? There are several brands for aftermarket shock absorbers. Some shock absorbers are adjustable to fit different usages, driving styles on the street, and on the track. Also, some shock absorbers are adapted for a specific car, but are not adjustable. The adjustable shock absorbers can be adjusted while mounted on the car. This means that they can be adjusted by the car owner whenever needed.

Ideally, adjustable shock absorbers are of course superior to the non-adjustable ones, but are also more expensive. Which shock absorbers to choose depends on how much money you're willing to spend and also how you are planning to use your car. For normal street use with occasional track driving, non-adjustable shock absorbers are most of the time sufficient, even though fully adjustable ones could give the driver more of a racing experience.
