Can a 700-HP Mustang Beat a Tesla P85D?

Even with the bad start, this Mustang never stood a chance, which is pretty tough to swallow here, considering the challenger.

Seeing a Mustang lose a drag race to any car is difficult for fans to watch, but a 700-horsepower version getting beat by an all-electric vehicle? Well, that’s practically unbearable.

I guess there is some consolation in knowing that the competing vehicle is the all-wheel-drive Tesla P85D, perhaps one of the fastest electric production cars on the planet. Still, the idea of any four-door EV giving a turbo powered Mustang this kind of lashing is difficult to comprehend. But, the video below doesn’t lie.

That said, we’d love to see the Tesla matched up against the Zombie 222 car (covered here) to get a sense of how it would fair against an electric powered Mustang that packs a mighty explosive punch.
