Anthracite Bullet Wheels??

Anthracite Bullet Wheels??
Well, I am planning on getting my wife a set of wheels and tires for Christmas for her 2008 Vapor Silver GT. I thought we had decided on black and polished bullets in 18/9 and 18/10 with 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 Nitto 555s however when looking at wheels on line yesterday she decided she really didn't think the black/polished wheels looked good on dark grey cars. I don't necessarily agree but hey its her ride. Does anybody have some good photographs of the Antracite bullets on their cars? Any color would be great but the darker grey/silver cars would be even better!! Thanks again.

RE: Anthracite Bullet Wheels??
Sorry about these pics not being too good but best I could do with a dirty car and short notice lol hth.. By the way Im running th nittos 285/40/18 on an 18/10 rim on the back thats what these pics are of.. Im running 17's in the front though.. but I love the way my combo sits.. Those nittos are good tires too well priced as well as a good product.. However I bought them when i had no go fast mods and now I have a C&L racer intake, custom tune, 3.73's and soon to be LT headers, O/R H pipe, and Axelback mufflers Full 3" JBA Exhaust system. With the Intake, tune, and 3.73's alone I have traction issues, so as soon as these 555's run too low im gonna go to drag radials lol.. But your wife should be more than happy with these. Btw sorry for the long post

Thanks Evil, Those look great. I think I will probably stay with 18's all around and use the 255/45 in front and 285/40 in the rear. Here is a photo from another forum that has that combo and while it is not a dark grey cars it really shows the wheels/tires and stance we like. This may have cinched it for us

As far as the Nittos are concerned they are fairly good tires. I have 555's on the front of my Z06 with Nitto drag radials on the rear. They take a lot to heat up. I just blow them off and they just hook ok but I also have 530 rwhp and 520 rwtq in a 3100 lb car. Most people like the BFG drag radials better and the new MT will beat those I bet. If you want matching tires the Nittos are hard to beat however.

Yeah i will be going with nitto drags in the back in the future.. Im also gonna put some lowering springs in the back before too long. My cars rear just seems like its sitting a little too high for my taste I think if i drop it about an inch it will sit just right

Thanks JD. That looks sweet. I ordered the 18/9 18/10 american racing version with KDW's 255/45 front and 285/40 rear. We are getting her stripes painted on on monday. Between the wheels, shaker hood, cdc classic spoiler,3d scoopsand stripes I think my wife will be happy with the looks. I will post some photos when she is done. thanks again.
