Darkness please post up pictures and the type of paint you used. I'm getting sick of the tacky chrome rings in my car not matching the satin aluminum panels.
Will do. I will try and get them posted up this weekend. Car is away getting some audio stuff done right now.

If you're looking to just change the trim rings you can do like I did and hit them with 600 grit sandpaper for a satin look.
They look very nice! What paint did you use? Good job man!
Thanks. They are not painted at all...just scuffed with sandpaper.
Originally I was going to just paint them silver, but when I started to sand them to prep them for paint, I realized they were plastic with a metal coating. So I just sanded them and put them back in the car that way.
How did you get them out? I pulled one out, and that black plastic "crown" (it sits right next to the ring in between the vent cylinder and the dash) broke into three pieces. Some of the hinges on it also broke. Now I have to buy a new one

Sorry to hear that man. Mine just popped right out, and the chrome part popped right of the black plastic part.
Here they are guys. They are more shiny in person, between the flash and the flake in the paint it makes them look duller then they really are... Tell me what you think.
