Default Ford Emblem

I've had my eye on these bad boys for some time now:

I know the legit shelby parts have the white background and the reproductions have the silver, but I cant decide if I really want to get them. Im not paying $300 for real ones but I dont wanna get something I'm not 100% on. Anyone thats got either style, I'd really appreciate some pics of em on you'r ride before I pull the trigger!

Scott drake repoduction:

Thanks!

You definitely should get them for sure... absolutely. What have you got to lose?
A little time and tape is all. Definitely you should go for it.

I LOVE mine. Has been on for a year now. Little different application than you might be expecting. Great quality, has held up well.

Go for it but don't pay the 300 bucks for the real ones when the knock offs are just fine!

Just get the knock-offs. I put one on the strut brace.

Sixx, what strut tower brace is that? Incredible job with the underhood touches!

Sixx hasn't answered so I'll jump in.
It's a Ford Racing double bar brace. It is stock on the Bullitt.
Really sweet brace....I have one too.
Beware though if your car is not a 2007 or newer then this bar may rub on the hood liner. The 2007 and newer has 2 channel grooves in the hoodliner to accomodate this strut brace.

Sorry to OP....not trying to jack your thread.

On topic though Shelby GT's have an emblem on the front fenders like the one you pictured only beefier looking....a more modern interpretation of it.

Thanks DTK. Also thanks for the compliments guys. I didn't like the plain Ford Racing logo on the srtut bar. So, I just put the emblem on it. The Shelby one does look a little better, but for the price, the other one looks good to.
