I got some off ebay for $70 shipped. They work great and the install was easy.

Thanks!
Its a certain brand and it requires you to run a wire up to the brake light
switch on the brake pedal so the chaser/sequencer knows the
difference between a turn signal signal and a brake light signal.

They use he standard OEM harness.
Do you think they work with the sequential headlights? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks!
I think sequential headlights are for emergency vehicles only
and could get you pulled over and a big ticket.

But to answer your question, you need ballast resistors to get
LED taillights to work with the burned out bulb notification feature
to be happy with the non resistive in nature load of the LEDs
with or without the sequencer kit. The sequencers dont care if
they have incandecent filiment bulbs or LEDS that hooked to them.
Same with the HID headlights, the SJB dont like the type of
load the HID Ballast Boxes put on the SJB with its headlight
burned out notification feature.

As said, i would highly recommend the Web Electrics. The problem with the taillight harness is the design by Ford. If you look closely in your trunk, you will see all the water that accumlates on the trunk, and around it runs down behind the trunk, in a groove and all that water goes down and RIGHT DIRECTLY over your taillight harness i believe, to empty out under the car.

Why in gods name would ford make a water run off over a electronic harness, is besides me.

However as said the web electrics have lifetime warranty. True plug and play. I had mine crap out on me, they sent me brand new ones in a week, all updated and revised and everything. Great company to deal with.

I would imagine that within 3 years of being a daily driver car the harness is going to crap out at some point. So it's best to have that lifetime warrenty on those, unless you want to resplice wires later on, or spend another $100+ on another set.

Sequentials won't work with LED taillights, I tried it and asked people over at Web-Electrics and they said it wouldnt work, even with resistors.

The ones i purchased over ebay sequence the brake lights without running a wire to the brake pedal. Also all the splicing of wires are done inside the trunk so no need to worry about electronics getting wet.

Uh, because wiring harnesses are inherintly waterproof?

Yea, mine also had provisions for the electronics to be in the trunk
to avoid the awful Ford designed rear of the vehicle water runoff.

The answer lies right there...RTFM!!! They do not work with sequential tail lights...
Unless the proper ballast resistors are used.....

They would have to explain that one to me in full
detail before I would believe them. If manufacturers
say it wont work, its probably because they are not sure.....

Its simple programming logic in the SmartJunctionBox.
If I could access the programming and be able to alter it,
I would be a very rich man. All sorts of electrical mods
that would just require the right logic would come to mind
as the wiring is already there.....

The ads state that the 2010s will have sequencing taillights.
They didnt add a thing except some simple programming of
the SJB for the sequential taillights except the new LED housings.
