I was all decided to pick up some 18" FR500's with tires from AM or other similar company. They'd run me around $1400 - 1600.

I found some used Shelby Razors 20 x 9 with tires on them 75% tread left for $1300. They are near perfect condition with no dings or road/curb rash.

What would you do....Brand new FR500's or used Razors.

I'm perfectly happy with either 20's or 18's so please let's not let this get into a wheel size battle.

Do you plan on lowering the car? If not, then 20s may look a little silly almost like donks.

Yes I plan on lowering eventually. 20's might make me do it quicker. lol

What color is your car??

Color of the wheels might help as well. Chrome, black, Gun metal??

if the color of the shelby razors look good with the color of your paint, go for the razors. no brainer imo

Personally not a fan of the Razors, so I'd go for the FR500s. Also, with the Razors you'd be saving $100 - $300, but giving up 25% of your tire life. Assuming $200 a tire (which is probably well below the median price for 20"s) you're giving all the money up in used rubber.

Shop around for Razors. Every Shop can get a different price, I got brand new Shelby's 20x9 with Nitto 555's mounted and balanced for $1400. They werent chrome, they were gun metal but still....

where did you get them for $1400? They're more like $1700 on AM.
