That's cool, might have to check into this sometime. Where did you connect those wires though? That's is the only thing that's keeping me from doing this mod...

I bought the Mustang LED kit from www.venomousstangz.net along with 2 blue LEDs from amazon.com for the maplights. It all came out really nice, only took about 2 hours. I wired the kit into the passenger door fuse box and stuck the control box in the right hand corner of the panel under the steering wheel. The footwell/underseat lights only comes on when I press the on/off switch but I like it that way.

I followed this post from another forum and put the green optix LED pods (they look like the football-shaped pods in this auction so they fit the factory cutouts perfectly) where this guy did (the factory location for the ambient lighting). I got a bulk set of individual LED's from off ebay for dirt cheap (CHINA), and drilled a hole in my cup holder, and two holes in the back sides of the center column for the rear footwells. I wired it all to a switch located near the cup holders, and tapped into the 12v outlet in the center column's power and ground so I can turn them on and off at will. The last page has a link to a set of install directions from FORD in PDF format you can view and/or save as well as some pictures of the actual light pods.

Those pictures are awesome, but can you show us where you put the LED lights and the control box? Just curious how they look. That would be awesome.

Thanks -

whtnblk.GT, are those just blue bulbs in the over head consul lights or is that a whole new light all together?
