I think you can pick up like 8" LED strips at Walmart/ maybe Pep Boys pretty cheap. I'd wire them so that they come on when the doors open or so that they're only on when the headlights are on. That way they're only on at night, which I think will look better. I've HEARD it's pretty easy but then again I don't know much about wiring/electrics

Yeah you could put a switch a lot of places. Center console, with the headlight switch etc. I wouldn't do a switch but that's just me...

Yeah that's true. A lot of people with the ambient lighting say it gets annoying sometimes. Maybe you could somehow get a ambient lighting center console and wire it so that the button turns it on/off, like it would if you had the ambient lighting package. Not sure if that's do-able, just thinking out loud

i can put one in the center console...if i get streetglow ones with the music interface thats where its going because i dont really keep stuff in there its more or less there haha i keep like my ipod and anythin valuble so people walkin by dont have a reason to breakin. i think the music interface would be really cool but idk if i wanna pay the price for streetglow ones ya know? its be like 250 for lights and interface thing then install so id prolly spend about 300

Yeah that could look good as long as you don't go overboard with it. Some people I know have and it's too much. I wouldn't spend $300 on it though, I'd personally go with the light bars with you can get for I think under $20

I used this kit in mine. Wire it into the fuse box with any fuse that is only hot when the car is in acc or run that way you dont leave them on and kill your battery. I put two under each side off the dash and one under each seat facing the rear. Comes with a wireless remoteto control the patterns. Doesnt "beat to the music" but it does have plenty of different patterns/colors. Works great and cant beat the price.
