Default A Site I Would Like To See

I always looking for a site where i could upload a pic of my car, then let me change the wheels to see what all the different after market wheels would look like on my car,or add scoops, different spoilers, fascia, trim, etc.but mostly the wheel tool would be great.

Tire Rack lets you see the wheels on your car. As far as the other stuff I don't think that exists but it would be great if it did!

The only realistic option would be for someone REALLY good with a CAD program to make a to scale model of a mustang, in stock form.

The members that were so inclined could create their existing mods as addons for the cad program.

The original model would need to be broken up into groups for the most commonly swapped parts like front bumper, rear bumper, wheels(front and rear in seperate pairs) spoiler...etc. Then you download the part you want and add it too your model.

I haven't played around with google sketchup but something like that would be perfect. It is free, has very simple tools, and has a searchable database for other published models that you can download.

I used to have a very cool model of a Toyota land cruiser FJ60 that I used To create a roof rack, front bumper, and rear bumper.

It would give you a slight idea of your car with certain mods.

A follow up to my idea. There seem to be a few different options for mustangs in sketchup. These are just base models of course but anyone with a little know how, time, and the aftermarket parts could add a lot of value to the models.

www.ponybuilder.com

although this is an older site, and hasn't been updated with newer parts since its release.

A good option also is to have someone photo shop it onto your car!
