I'm currently looking for new stripes to put on my 2007 Black Stang. I have the white rocker stripes on the mustang now, but i'm looking for a new style. I'm trying to decide between 4 different options so i need everyone's opinion in their posts. i will post pictures/links that correspond with each option.

I like C-stripes, but the white rocker with white racing stripes would look good too.

I love it. I have to roll my windows down when I back up at night, but otherwise its awesome.

I'd get rid of the rocker (makes the car look cleaner, sleeker, and meaner I think) and add the racing stripes. It would help if you added pictures of your car, or at least tell us the color.

The cool thing about black is you can do ANY color stripes. Charcoal, maroon, bright red, green....anything. I say be different than everyone else with colors.

I definitely vote c stripe though. I like c stripes and 427r style hockey sticks.

Tanner, specifically they are 3M Slate Metallic. I bought them through jerseyautoparts.com. They are close to, but still noticeably lighter than Charcoal, and probably similar to Traffic Grey (except traffic grey is not metallic).


OP, I agree with Blue above, black cars have the widest range of color choices I think. In my opinion, white on black is too much contrast. I got rid of the white rockers and went for a darker gray color for my alloy for that reason. But some people like the contrast. Matte black always looks great on a gloss black car, and you can never go wrong with silver. I've even seen some blue that looks good on black.
