Mine had the same front end as the 70. Used to call it a headbanger hood. If you worked under the hood, you know what I mean.

Got all the parts installed tonight, grill, and sequential tail light kit. Looks awesome, sorry no pics yet, but will soon.

I'm fabricating custom hinges right now, from a volvo...
They have a little butterfly that you can disengage in order to have the the hinges to scissor out all the way and it puts the hood almost on the windshield, lol.
Mercedes use to have those as well.
