Default painted door mirrors

yo dudes.
when the autumn sets in in october i have a list of small mods i want to do.
one i'm thinking of doing is having the door mirrors painted the same colour as the car.
so any of you fine posters have some pictures you wanna share.
how easy are they to remove?
cheers rudi

I had mine done at a paint shop. $75 a mirror. Makes the car look a lot better. I'll post pictures in a lil bit

I did the painted Agent 47 mirrors. Much cleaner look IMO but the mirror caps or painted stock mirrors are big improvement too.Name: DSC_0057.jpg

I did the AM pre-painted inserts. I am still debating the 2011+ side mirror mod though.

I had the stock 07 mirror painted UA black and installed them. I liked that look, much better than the matte black from the factory. I have since gone to the mirrors from a 12 Mustang with the convex mirror corners and caps painted UA black to match. I like this mirror much better than the stock 07 mirrors. JMO of course.

The mirrors are extremely easy to remove. The inner plastic cover just pulls off, there is an electrical connection to unplug and three nuts to remove.

I just purchased the AM mirror caps, would like to eventually change them out for the 2010+ style.

Gah, another thing to add to the build list. Those painted covers do look great. I can't really imagine you bringing them to someone to get them painted for much cheaper than the cost of the covers.
