Use the SEARCH feature man....
Read this past thread about weight savings, it has some very good suggestions.

RE: weight reduction
IMO weight reduction is an all or nothing deal. Going by the old standard of 100lbs = .1 (one tenth of a second) you will soon find out that after the first 50 or so pounds, finding places to remove weight is pretty hard and exspensive. Also consider that you won't even "feel" 2-3 tenths by the seat of you pants. It is usually cheaper to just add more power. Of course you still want to pull the jack and spare and make sure the car is empty when you race, but to really get any improvement with weight removal you really need to get crazy with it.

RE: weight reduction
i don't mind getting crazy with it
my goal is to get it 2900-3000lbs, and obtain a 50/50 weight ratio, i'm building the car for autocross and road course, with enough power to beat most people on the street.
taking things out of the interior is the last thing i'll do, probably just rear seat delete and rear speaker removal (i normally drive a 240sx with 1 speaker lol, so its like i have high standars for music)
although for now i'm just trying to replace most of the parts with lightweight parts and see where that gets me

RE: weight reduction
In that case things like air bags, crash bars in the doors, bumper supports, under carpet sound deadner can all go, along with all the isulation behind the interior panels. Thats an easy 100 lbs right there. A light weight battery will drop about 20 pounds as well.

RE: weight reduction
haha i'm going to wait for that stuff, although ive already done all that in my 240sx and that thing is noisey as hell when i drive it, i kind of like it though lol
i love it even more just hearing that turbo spool mmmmmmmmmm

RE: weight reduction
Is anybody bothering to actually READ the earlier post that I linked to?
Go over there. Read it. You will see that it is possible to hit 3000 lbs while maintaining AC, Power steering, and so on.
I also posted a specific list over here: https://mustangforums.com/m_2146786/tm.htm
