i dunno it was on an upcline with the tail at the top and it would just skid, the truck had to pull her out

hehe....i am not used to doing it either. My dealer did that once after some work. I got a little jolt when I started the car up to say the least!

yup theres a tsb for 06 too this sucks, ford couldnt even fix the problem, how come my moms new suv doesnt have this problem, what the hell is the difference in the emergency break

I don't remember hearing about the problem in until this winter. Its almost like the problem developes over time not a problem right away. To my understanding the boot towards the rear of the car acutally breaks, it must deteriate over time. That is my guess on why it was not fixed for the 06s.

it could be that your cranking to far on the e-brake
and yes I know we have 4 disk brakes
remember the desing of the e-brake on most cars has a drum in the disk of the rear brakes and drums and ajusted by cranking harder just read on how stuff works
however if you go to hard on an e-brake your can lock it and then it can't be released normaly
