Which Front End Bra
Anyone out there using a bra on their Mustang, which brand is it? I just purchased a Colgan and am not impressed with it. Anyone using any other brands? If you are using a Colgan, do you have any fit issues?
Thanks in advance

RE: Which Front End Bra
i gotta say it keeps my front end scratchless and it doesnt hold sand :-) as often because i usually take it off and clean under it, it helps with all my highway driving and its carbon fibered so it looks sexy, my girl starts laughing when i tell her, i got put the bra on my other girl lol

I'm going to have to get one of these as well. It's killing me keeping the bug guts off the front of my car and the road rash is starting to take it's toll. So if any of you guys know of a brand that fits well please let me/us know.

I gotta laugh when I hear people warn about how bras collect sand and rub on the paint or wear away the paint or scratch or cause uneven fading...
NOT having a bra can cause missing chunks of paint and dings when pebbles hit your front end and bugs crushed into the front bumper will eat away at the clearcoat!
The Ford bra made speciafically for the Mustang fits very tight. Even if you poured sand into it if it doesn't move it won't scratch. You probably should get the 3M bra if you leave your car in the sun all day all year long, but most folks use the bra when they NEED it... not all the time.

RE: Which Front End Bra
I personally hate the bras...To me, they're a pain to put on and take off. I'd rather put forward the money on the 3M type.
I currently have a bra on my '74 Corvette, but it's there to keep the front bumper on the car (the previous owner hit a pole at approx 2 mph, it cracked, and now it's falling apart after 10 years of weather and deterioration) until we buy the new front bumper to replace the damage. However, under where the bra is, the paint has been scratched fairly badly.

Drive my GT on the highway everyday. If I didnt have a BRO on the front I would have chips in the paint like you wouldnt believe.
The BRO is removed every Saturday for cleaning of the cars front end.
I show my daily driver. To run without a BRO is not an option.
