Guys,

What if I baught Kooks LT's and ran them open headers. Im talking headers and nothing else. I know this would be loud, but would it be bad for the engine at all? Help me out here guys...

hahaha i knew its gonna be crazy loud. But I heard it fu*cks your valves up or melts them or something. Anybody knew if its bad for theengine at all?

Eliminates back pressure which will affect the seating of your valves, not to mention being illegal.

It would be cool for about three minutes... and after that, it would get annoying.

And, yes, you do need some backpressure in the system. If you like the open header sound, buy a set of Kooks and get electric cutouts welded in before the h-pipe.

That kind of stuff is for the track. All it will do on the street is annoy everyone, and get you tickets. [:@]

yea cut outs are a good idea. They are really cheap if you get the manual kind and if you want electric, they are also reasonably priced. This allows you the option of straight headers when you want them or full exhaust for the street

[sm=badidea.gif]anyone think of just taking off the headers and running just straight from the engine ,,, oil would be splatting everywhere but it would be loud!

Honestly man it would be way way too loud and cause a lot of problems and stress not to mention headaches.
