Does your check engine light come on when you install gears and exhaust?

Just wondering because I'm about to put my JBA axel back on this afternoon and have some 3.73s install later this week.

if it does just flash the computer chip and that should do it more than likely

I can't speak about the gears as I haven't replaced those. On the exhaust....my Magnaflow catback system I had installed last weekend came with instructions to disconnect the battery upon install in order to allow the computer to adjust itself to the new exhaust. This was done. No Check Engine light for me (and the new exhaust tone is outstanding).

The gears though are a more dramatic change, with that a chip flash may be necessary I'd think.
