Holy Crap! $30 for Plastic Seat Lever ****!
I went to the dealer today to get my replacement VIN sticker installed and an oil change. While there I figured I'd buy a replacement seat lever **** for the back of my passenger seat. When I had my seats out doing the Upholstery swap my son decided to sit on the seat on the floor and flip it backwards. Well it cracked the **** right off.
Anyway ... the parts counter said they had one in stock and he went and got it. Sure enought it was the little plastic **** from the back of the seat. I told him to please order me a spare ... figuring they were like $5 each. While he's keying in the order he turns around and says ... you do know that these are $30 each right? I can let you have them for $25 but that's the cheapest I can go. I said no way ... 30 bucks for this little plastic ****? He said yes. I said no thanks ... I'll glue the broken on back on ..... Unbelievable ...
SO ... anyone doing an upholstery swap ... be very careful removing those *****!

Duh!!!! I never thought of that .... I should have said it broke when putting the seat up ....

I had my passenger's seat one replcaed under warranty about a month ago. MY 12 year old broke it off without even trying hard. SA said they have replaced several. However they do not stock them, so it'll have to be ordered most likely.
Bad design IMO... Probably should be made from ABS or something more durable than PVC.

My Dealer has one in stock ... I held it in my hand and then gave it back when I heard the price. The warranty problem with me is that I think they are going to notice I have a Screaming Yellow car with Red Leather .... pretty sure sign that they have been removed.
