Mustang Running Hot? Need Help ASAP
Hey guys,
Today I was sitting at Sonic for about ten minutes with my car running and I noticed that the temp. gauge was a little over half way. Is this normal? As soon as I started driving again, it came back down immediately with thirty seconds. Any help would be appreciated. The car is a 2007 GT/CS (ignore sig) with just o/r prochamber and pypes mid-muffler. Thanks.

If all your fluid levels are good don't worry about it. When I first bought my car I did not like where the temp ran. Mine runs half or just over half all the time. It runs this summer and winter, so you should be fine, but checking everything would be a good measure.

Well it looks like most of the responses here are from people who have CAI and tunes, i have a question for you...
i noticed my fan running all the time lately no ac or heat going.
So i went back to the speedshop and asked them if it was the tune doing it (before i took everything off and went screaming to the dealer [:'(]) He said that SCT sets the fans to cool at 20 degrees cooler than stock, but he can change it if i want with a small loss in horsepower.
Altho it does register just below mid point on the scale now, whereas before it was stright in the middle.
My main concern is that it doesnt blow my fan... leading to a real problem.
