ARE WE BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONES?
Ok basiclly I got a 07 v6 Im gonna get rid of in a few months. Basically Ive always loved the older models, particurally a 99-04 model. The cobra's especially. Anyways what Im thinking of going to is an 08 GT but Im just curious are the older models better? I want opinions and feedback. My only concern is they are older with older parts and more miles so Im not sure how the tard before me treated his car. May look into the offers on here, that way I would atleast know the car was taken care of.

Agreed, the Cobra is the only 'late model' option I'd go for, by late model I mean less than 10 years old. Unfortunately, the 'tard element have abused many Cobra's but find a good one and you're set.

The S197 is better on every level. Especially the shock towers, front suspension.
Don't bother with the older models.
Besides, 94/04 looks too close to a Japmobile IMO. Nothing retro about it.
Except for the Terminators, they suck power wise, even the Cobras.

I'm going to have to say to stick with the s197. It is a much better car over all, plus you don't have as much depreciation. My only gripe with my s197 was the throttle lag which was nicely fixed vai a simple B A M A chips tune. These are fun car expecially when you personalize them.
