I think they saw how much response the thread concerning the black (with green stripe) v6 restore got, and thought this would be a great promotion project, otherwise, what is the point in dropping so much money into a once totalled car?

Some people just have the money to spend -- I would've bought a new Saleen but I guess this guy had some attachment to his ... it'll look new once it's done though -- no one on the road will know how it did look [:-]
