RE: Aeroforce gauges
I wanted to know if it will display A/F ratio? Will it do it right out of the box or do you have to add a sensor and use one of the inputs?
Also would like to know exactly what it displays? There website give a list but says "not all are supported". Like to hear from someone with one installed.
Thanks,
Howie

RE: Aeroforce gauges
From my understanding it will tell you narrowband but that isnt real useful. In order to do A/F you will have to get the sensor and wire it in. Lethal has the whole set up.
I cant give you a comprehensive list of what it does read but I know it is alot.
Worst case give me 2 weeks and I can tell you

RE: Aeroforce gauges
You'll need a wideband sensor and control in order for the aeroforce to display A/F. I'm compiling a list from memory of all it displays, this isn't a complete list because I haven't tried everything.
Standby.
MPG
MPH
RPM's
Fuel trims (short/long)
timing advance (one of my favs)
Fuel pressure
fuel pump duty cycle
injector pulse
knock retard (still not sure what the values mean though)
Coolant temp
cylinder head temp (both of them)
ambient air temp
intake air temp
O2 sensor volts 1&2 (this is your narrow band, this can give you an idea of how rich/lean)
The above is also useful to determine if you O2 sensors are operating properly.
Horsepower (the jury is still out on it's accuracy)
Throttle position
Engine load
Battery volts
MAF counts
MAF sensor lbs/min.
If I can remember anymore I'll add them later.

Moose you forgot that it also displays 0-60 and 1/4 mile times right?

It also reads and clears DTC codes. It's a very useful tool.
It also records any 2 parameters for 60 seconds, it starts recording once 50% throttle is reached.

RE: Aeroforce gauges
you need a full sensor kit.... costs about $400 for the full deal. I recently discussed adding it to my Aeroforce....figured all in it was gonna cost me $500 (paying for install)
