Never had one issue in fact ive gone bigger in the front LOL!! I bump it up to 265/40 in the front with 285/40 in the rear.. just added some more suspension parts but all in all the stance = Love at first sight !

I bought some stock bullitt rims off craigslist. Guy said they were from an 05 but frankly I couldnt tell. This is them on my car. Seem to stick out kinda far which tells me they are not from a s197. What do you guys think? I ordered some MT ET streets 26x11.5x17 tires to mount on them. I guess the worse thing would be that they stick out a little too much. They are gonna be track only wheels, so thats no such a bad thing........I hope.

those are the new edge style, so pre-2005. the middle of the spokes on new edge wheels have more of a 'point' to them (which i've always liked), where as the 05+ are more rounded
so yeah... that guy didn't know what he was talking about

i don't think they'd look funny, especially on the track... plus, i've always wondered what that style of bullitt wheel would look like on an s197...
if pics of that style already exist... i must have forgotten what they look like

Oh ****, thats funny.. Thats my boy Mark L. I went to Highschool with him here in Windermere Florida, once we graduated he moved to Acworth,GA.. Went up once to visit him w/ his gf at the time and my best friend. He comes down to my area quite a bit. Didn't he sell that stang a few years back?
I attached a few pictures from back in 07 when we were seniors in highschool! PS: Wasn't his suede system setup in the trunk legit? Matching stripes =)

Bump, I think I will go with black saleen with 99-04 offset. I am not lowered so it shouldnt rub right?? I will go with 10" rims at the back and 9" upfront. I am thinking to throw 245s up front and 285 nittos at the back. what do you guys think?
