Default Intake/tune install

Has anyone done a detailed "TacoBill" style writeup of a C&L Intake install and tune upgrade? The C&L
instructions I got were text only (unless I missed the picture page). I've tried numerous search terms and
can't get the results I'm looking for (I think it's the & that is messing up the search function, either that, or it
doesn't exist...

I'm doing the install tomorrow afternoon with a buddy, and just wanted to have all the info, pics, etc
I could get on hand. Doubt it'll be a problem, but it's nice to have the info at my fingertips (I'll have
my laptop handy) and I know all the manufacturers are closed on weekends for tech support.

Going to be installing the C&L Intake and Tune, Stangmods 6k HID headlights and 3k HID foglights and
GrabberOrange's hood struts. Should be a fun afternoon...

Thanks in advance!

In take is super easy! No write up required! Should take you about 15 min.

Howarmat,

I actually did find those (how could you miss them), but I was looking for one specific to the C&L.

I've read of an issue on a different forum about how a bracket bolts to the valve covers and a recommendation
to cut the bracket and re-use the grommetted bolt. I was hoping someone here had a better description or
even some pictures.

Thanks tho', I plan to have both of those write up's within arms reach.

you do not need to use the bracket. I never did with my aluminum intake.

Interesting. Again, not to argue, but I've read in other places that the C&L is one of the heavier intakes and
that the recommendation is that the bracket should be used...

Guess I'll have to make the judgement's once I get into it.

Thanks,

...Jim

My C&L only has one bolt in the fender and than the opposite side has ziptie holding it. It's super easy. I did mine in the parking lot of VMP Tuning in like 15 minutes.
