help Gt 500 spoiler install
This thing is annoying! When it sits flush the holes to screw in are covered and half of the hole towards the front of the car is exposed. The only way to get the holes to line up is to move the spolier up a bit but then its not flush. Also noticed that it come with 4 screws and only two holes line up? Help please!

Wierd. If you're replacing a stock spoiler, it should line up perfectly. The two extra screws are provided if you want to drill holes on the outer sides of the trunk.

If I sit it flush and have the rear lip of the spolier hang over the holes wont line up. Did yours sit flush ( meaning the double sided tape that comes on the gt500 spolier sits flush on the truck lid) I ordered from LM performance. You only used two of the 4 screws provided to install the spoiler?

RE: help Gt 500 spoiler install
I ordered mine from the Spoiler Store. Did not have any issues as I drilled four holes in the trunk because I had the Spoiler delete option. Sounds like it's WAY off. I'd contact them for a replacement. Or, would could use the templates and drill two new holes if you're desperate to install it and will never be removing it.

RE: help Gt 500 spoiler install
The problem im having is if I have it sit flush two of the holes on the trunk lid are exposed and none of the holes line up for the screws to go through. If i move the spoiler up a little bit I can get two screws threw and all holes are covered but its not flush.

RE: help Gt 500 spoiler install
If you are replacing the factory spoiler, you only use two of the holes/screws. Line it up, tape it down and then screw it in. My screws didn't line up perfectly, one was more to the side, but I was able to get it threaded.
They give you four in case you want to drill holes to install it (or if you didn't have a factory spoiler).

RE: help Gt 500 spoiler install
This probably won't help, but this is how it ends up looking. This is from the spoiler store. I went and looked at the LM Performance site....I assume you are using the "replica" GT 500 spoiler? If so, it sounds from the description that the install should be identical to the spoiler store....
